More people than ever are finding themselves in vulnerable situations that can often result in becoming homeless. With your support we can help these people…

£5 – will provide one client with a ‘clean kit’
This includes, clean underwear, a hair cut, shaving and washing toiletries

£10 – provides support for a vulnerable person to attend an external appointment which could change their lives (the GP, detox clinic, housing association, job interview)

£20 – is the cost of a session with our crisis counsellor to talk through issues such as abuse, post traumatic stress or family breakdown

£30 – a day out away from the city to learn new skills, build more positive social circles and celebrate recovery

 £10,000 – would fund an additional support worker to engage with some of the most vulnerable people in our society and empower them to re-build a life away from the streets and from addiction.

If you are a UK tax payer you can Gift Aid your donations to The Basement, making them worth 20% more to our charity, at no extra cost to you!

Volunteer applications have closed for the time being, to allow us to go through the latest submissions.

Please note: We only accept volunteer applications form people aged 21 years and above.

If you work for a company or run your own business here are some of the ways you can help:

• Nominate the Basement as your ‘Charity of the Year’ or sponsor an individual service or activity for our clients
• Ask your employees to raise funds on our behalf through a Basement fundraising event. Sponsored run/walk, cake sales, dress up/down days.
• Invite your customers to provide support – with a Basement collection box on your till counter
